Effective October 28, 2026 — Applies to purchases made on or after this date.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern shopping and purchases from Couch King at couchking.store and our showroom, to the extent disclosed and incorporated into the sale before purchase. Please read them before placing an order. Individual written order terms and legally required disclosures also apply. These terms do not retroactively change earlier orders. Mere website browsing does not waive your legal rights.

2. Product selection and measurements

Please confirm the product, color, condition, dimensions, configuration, chaise orientation, quantity, and included pieces before paying. Unless a listing states otherwise, chaise side is described while facing the sofa. Modular layouts and accessories may be shown for illustration; only the pieces identified in your order are included. Ottomans, recliners, extra modules, pillows, rugs, and decor are included only when specifically listed as included.

Customers are responsible for measuring the room and the complete access route, including entrances, stairs, elevators, hallways, and turns. Dimensions may be approximate; request clarification or additional measurements before purchase. Customer measurement errors do not create a voluntary return right. This does not excuse materially inaccurate measurements supplied by Couch King.

3. Photographs, colors, and showroom inspection

Screen settings, lighting, photography, and fabric nap can affect apparent color and texture. Manufacturer photographs may show a representative item or staged setting. For used or individually pictured pieces, ask for current photos and condition details. We encourage inspection before purchase to evaluate comfort, firmness, material, and condition. Ordinary visual variation does not by itself establish a defect; this provision does not excuse a material mismatch with the agreed description or a specific promise.

4. New, used, clearance, and floor-model merchandise

The listing or invoice identifies whether merchandise is new, used, a floor model, or clearance. Used and display furniture may have disclosed wear, cosmetic imperfections, cushion softening, repairs, or other signs of prior use. Ask about condition concerns before purchase. Couch King does not guarantee a used item's prior household history or suitability for a particular allergy unless expressly represented.

WHERE CLEARLY DISCLOSED BEFORE PURCHASE, USED, CLEARANCE, AND FLOOR-MODEL ITEMS DESIGNATED “AS IS” ARE SOLD AS IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. FOR THOSE ITEMS, COUCH KING DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ONLY TO THE EXTENT LAWFULLY PERMITTED.

This disclaimer does not negate express descriptions or promises, apply where prohibited, or override obligations arising from a written warranty or service contract that prevents disclaimer. An item is not automatically designated “as is” merely because it is discounted or used.

5. Prices, payments, and order confirmation

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Taxes and delivery or other agreed charges are additional unless expressly included. Review the total before authorizing payment. Promotional offers apply only under their stated terms and are not retroactive unless stated. We may correct genuine pricing or availability errors before accepting an order. If an accepted order cannot be fulfilled as agreed, we will contact you to discuss lawful alternatives or provide any required refund; we will not substitute a materially different item without consent.

Any deposit, reservation, special-order, storage, or cancellation charge must be separately disclosed and agreed before payment. No undisclosed fee or automatic forfeiture is created by these terms.

6. Final sales, cancellation requests, and required refunds

We do not offer a general trial period or satisfaction guarantee. A request to change or cancel an order must be made promptly and is not approved unless confirmed by Couch King. Any discretionary exception will be documented in writing. Special orders and goods ordered specifically for you remain subject to the final-sale policy and any additional terms disclosed before purchase.

If shipment is delayed beyond the time required by applicable law, we will provide the required notice and the choice to consent to delay or cancel for a prompt refund. If we cannot supply your order, we will provide a legally required refund. Refunds, when due, will follow applicable payment and legal requirements. An all-sales-final policy does not authorize withholding payment for goods we fail to provide.

7. Delivery scheduling and service levels

Delivery availability, service area, price, and scope must be confirmed for your order. Curbside delivery, assisted inside delivery, and white-glove delivery are different services; do not assume stairs, assembly, packaging disposal, removal of old furniture, or installation are included. The order-specific service description controls.

Delivery windows are estimates unless specifically guaranteed in writing. Traffic, weather, supplier issues, and unsafe conditions may require rescheduling, subject to applicable delay and refund rights. Same-day delivery is available only when expressly confirmed for the order.

Provide accurate contact and address details, disclose access restrictions and stairs, reserve elevators when necessary, obtain building permissions, clear pathways, and secure pets and children. An authorized adult must be available when required. We may stop unsafe work or decline an unsafe route. Any additional trip or special-service charge must be disclosed and agreed before it is incurred; additional work is not automatic.

8. Pickup, loading, and customer-assisted handling

Customers arranging pickup must bring an appropriate vehicle, restraints, protection, and sufficient assistance. You are responsible for safe transportation and handling under your control, including securing the load and following manufacturer instructions. Do not use furniture beyond its intended purpose or attempt unsafe lifting. Couch King is not responsible for damage caused solely by customer transportation, misuse, or unauthorized alterations; this does not excuse our own legally actionable conduct.

9. Inspection and reporting problems

Inspect the item and delivery area when reasonably possible. Note visible damage, missing pieces, or an incorrect item on the delivery record and contact us promptly with your order number, a description, and photos. Preserve packaging where practical until a reported issue is assessed. Do not attempt repairs that could worsen damage before discussing the issue with us.

A signature confirms receipt and any observations recorded at delivery; it is not a blanket waiver of hidden defects, warranty rights, or claims. There is no automatic 24-hour cutoff for legal rights. We will evaluate reported problems and provide the repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy required by applicable law or an enforceable warranty. Change-of-mind requests remain subject to the final-sale policy.

10. Warranties, care, and normal wear

Manufacturer warranties, when applicable, are governed by their actual written terms and eligibility requirements. Ask for available warranty information before purchase. Couch King does not create an additional written warranty through these terms. We do not promise manufacturer coverage for every item or transferability for used furniture. This does not limit any enforceable seller warranty or legal obligation.

Follow care, cleaning, assembly, weight-limit, and operating instructions. Ordinary wear, changes in cushion feel, accidental spills, misuse, pet damage, and customer-caused damage are not automatically manufacturing defects. Actual warranty coverage controls. No statement here prevents a remedy for a covered defect.

11. Third-party financing and lease-to-own agreements

Credit, installment, and lease-to-own products are provided under the relevant provider's separate agreement. Approval, payment schedules, total cost, and early-payoff terms are determined by that agreement. A credit approval is not a guarantee of inventory or delivery. Contact us and the provider about any authorized cancellation or refund adjustment. Do not assume a dispute automatically pauses payments; this does not limit statutory billing-dispute rights.

12. Responsibility and limitations of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COUCH KING IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL ECONOMIC LOSSES, SUCH AS LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM AN ORDER. WHERE LAWFULLY ENFORCEABLE, OUR LIABILITY FOR ORDINARY CONTRACT-BASED ECONOMIC LOSS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE AFFECTED GOODS OR SERVICES.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, liability that cannot legally be excluded, or any situation in which a limitation would be unconscionable or an agreed remedy fails of its essential purpose. Nothing releases Couch King from responsibility for damage or loss caused by conduct for which the law imposes nonwaivable liability.

13. Website use and privacy

Do not misuse the website, submit fraudulent orders, infringe intellectual property, or interfere with store systems. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. These terms do not grant permission for unsolicited marketing beyond consent and applicable law.

14. Disputes, governing law, and updates

Please contact Couch King first so we can investigate and try to resolve a concern. This request does not prevent a lawful chargeback, regulatory complaint, small-claims action, or other legal remedy. North Carolina law governs to the extent applicable, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by law. Updates apply prospectively and do not reduce existing order rights without a lawful agreement. A specific enforceable written order promise controls over conflicting general wording. Nothing here excuses misleading sales statements or waives protections that cannot be waived.
